I Tried All The Top Lip Plumpers—Here Are The Ones That Actually Work

It’s a light pink color, almost neutral, and while it doesn’t really do a lot of plumping, I’d say it did a decent job making them look juicier. At one point, this became my go-to. The shade wasn’t too bold, so it matched my daily makeup. This may not be your fave if your lips are more pigmented, though, so try a richer color than the mauve. It gives a glossy finish, the packaging is nice, and it doesn’t dry your lips out. Buxom also has an amazing color collection. Not a bad choice, but is it worth $25? If you’re searching for something with a dramatic effect, probably not. It has a cooling effect, but it doesn’t burn and feels moisturizing. The colors are lovely. I bought it in the shade Honeysuckle, a dark, cherry brown shade that goes great with my olive skin tone. But this article is on how well these lip plumpers live up to their name, and Maracuja doesn’t really do that. It’s better off advertising itself as just a gloss.
