For most of my teenage and college years, I wanted to be her, with her gorgeous outfits, outspoken personality, and carefree attitude. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, along with a long list of other 2000s rom-coms, romanticizes the life of a journalist to the extent that I couldn’t wait to be one. And while my career may have placed me in a classroom rather than an office at the top of a New York skyscraper, I couldn’t be happier living out this fantasy while I am writing this article. Dreams really do come true!
Andi and Ben’s love story is one to remember, as they accidentally fall for each other despite their secret plans and hilarious encounters.
