How Feminism Caused the Extinction of Femininity
The history of brainwashing women into corporate slavery and how we willingly gave up everything our grandmothers taught us along the way.
From my earliest memory, I saw all the moms and grandmothers in my life trade skill sets like currency. My best friend's mom could sew anything; I remember in particular that she made her kids matching watermelon sundresses. My mom was always highly disciplined and strong and helped share the freedom of physical fitness with anyone who asked. My grandmother was a master in the kitchen and had an active garden, which grew a variety of produce and, of course, lemons, as is required by law in any Greek household. She, too, was a wizard with a thread and needle and used to sew dresses for her son's prom dates. The feminine skill set, not even 100 years ago, consisted of cooking, gardening, sewing, raising livestock, and, most valuable of all, child-rearing. I was raised by women with all of these talents, yet I am now a wife and a mother who can't sew, doesn't know the first rule of gardening, and whose cooking skills only go as far as reading a recipe off my phone, which I often struggle with.
