How Did Robert Pattinson Get Hotter With Age?

I guess Robert Pattinson truly is immortal.

Somewhere between Twilight and now, Robert Pattinson, 39, stopped being the cute teen heartthrob and started being hot and masculine. Is it the abs? The jawline? While everyone is swooning over his features, I believe what’s made him even more attractive in his late 30s is his energyand, well, yeah, his more defined bone structure after losing the baby fat.

In his early fame era, the moody Pattinson was pretty much his character, Edward Cullen. In recent years, he’s shed the sanitized image entirely (just look at the chaotic, heart-hands-heavy press tour for Mickey 17). Now, he seems more nurturing and open.

Pattinson is also engaged to the beautiful Suki Waterhouse and is now a proud father. When speaking about his daughter recently, he said, "Ever since she was born, it's reinvigorated the way I approach work, and yeah, you're a completely different person the next day."

Pattinson Spills His Anti-Aging Secrets

Still, aging well isn’t just good genes and high, vampire-like facial structure. Pattinson actually works for his looks. In a 2020 British GQ interview, Pattinson revealed that he didn’t always have a skincare routine, but hitting his 30s changed that real quick. “As I am getting older I’m definitely noticing things,” he said. “I used to not do anything at all, up until a few years ago, and I can definitely see the difference [in my face now], especially if I am traveling a lot.”

His go-to move is accessible to you and me: Sheet masks – plus an eye mask layered on top. “It’s very American Psycho, but those sheet masks make a massive difference,” he explained. “I’m fully committed.”

As for his Batman physique, Pattinson trained under legendary Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach Rigan Machado, who’s worked with everyone from Keanu Reeves to Chadwick Boseman. They trained three to four times a week, focusing on mobility, fighting technique, and sheer physicality. “He’s very good. He’s very talented,” Machado said. “The type of person who if he keeps training Jiu-Jitsu he could enter competitions.”

Case in point: Pattinson is getting hotter as he gets older.

Here’s how the actor has aged like fine wine throughout the years.
