Halle’s pregnancy rumors started in September 2023, and an Instagram post on January 6. Bailey (23) shared a photograph of her holding her newborn son's hand. A tiny bracelet revealed his name: Halo.

"Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son.. welcome to the world, my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️.”

The post almost immediately garnered over a million likes, with fans celebrating Halo's arrival along with the happy parents. Many women expressed gratitude to Hailey for openly celebrating the joy of motherhood since the importance of motherhood is so often ignored or twisted in Hollywood culture.

Bailey first became well-known as one half of the musical duo Chloe x Halle with her sister Chloe Bailey, with the two of them earning five Grammy Award nominations. Since then, she's shifted to acting. After winning the Glamour Woman of the Year Gen Z Game-Changer Award in 2023, she wrote on Instagram: "✨this is such a special honor to me and feels oh so amazing to be recognized for the work that I have put in all the years of my career. being a young woman in the spotlight is definitely not for the weak.. but because of God, my loved ones and mentors I am able to face the world everyday with my head held high.. i’m so grateful for all of the beautiful souls that continue to lift me up and guide me as I continue this blessing of a journey which is my life 🥰❤️✨thank you God!!!

It's notable that amid so much exciting career success, especially in the last two years, Bailey would find becoming a mother the most significant and joyous achievement of her life. She joins the growing list of celebrities like Adele and Blake Lively who are making it clear that motherhood is deeply fulfilling and worth the sacrifice.
