More celebrities have been coming forward lately to announce that they've suffered some kind of side effect from the coronavirus vaccine. Katy Perry has been vocal in encouraging people to get vaccinated, but footage from a recent concert shows that half of her face seems paralyzed. In June 2022, superstar Justin Bieber shared that he was suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which is similar to Bell's Palsy. His face was partially paralyzed and you could see in the video that one side of his face wasn't cooperating with the other. As you can see, this eye is not blinking," he said as he pointed to the right side of his face. "I can't smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. There's full paralysis on this side of my face." He didn't say exactly why he was dealing with this health issue, but there was a study published in September 2021 that highlighted a connection between Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and the mRNA coronavirus vaccine. Many people speculated that his condition was a result of the shot. Now, Katy Perry is another celebrity who people are speculating is also suffering from a vaccine side effect.

The TikTok account called @katyperrytv shared a short clip of Katy's recent performance. She was wearing a sequined, colorful dress and her hair was pulled back halfway away from her face. She was looking at the crowd and posing, but her right eye was drooping and wouldn't stay open. She had to use her hand to prop it open—more than once. It looks like both sides of her face aren't coordinating in sync.

Something is clearly wrong with one side of her face and people in the comment section can't help but wonder what on earth is happening with the pop princess. The video was widely shared across other social media platforms.

Many people guessed that the malfunction came from the latest booster shot, but of course that's nothing more than speculation. The mainstream media isn't reporting on it and Katy hasn't made a response to any of the comments circulating online. Katy, 37, dressed up as the coronavirus vaccine last Halloween with Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter, in a funny attempt to encourage vaccination. Orlando posted the photo on Instagram and wrote in the caption, "I vaxxed a girl and I liked it."

Katy has been very outspoken about the vaccine for a long time and urges her fans to get their shot, which means she'll probably be the last to admit if she experienced any kind of negative side effect from it.

It's extremely rare to see celebrities, like Evangeline Lily, speak out against vaccine mandates and encourage people to make health decisions for themselves. If Katy is harboring a side effect from the shot, we won't know for sure anytime soon.
