This research explored young girls' attitudes regarding body size and shape, leveraging Mattel’s new line of diverse Fashionista Barbie dolls. The study included 84 girls aged between 3 and 10 years and aimed to understand their perceptions and preferences related to diverse body types, as represented by the dolls, which included original, tall, petite, and curvy variations.
