The Super Bowl commercials have been rolling out over the last few days, and while we've enjoyed the likes of Lindsay Lohan's self-deprecating humor for Planet Fitness and Amazon's ad for Alexa featuring funny couple Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost, there's one commercial in particular that we're looking forward to seeing again.
Zendaya has been a Hollywood It Girl for the last few years; her fashion choices and roles in hit shows and movies like HBO's Euphoria and Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home have kept her in the spotlight and on the cover of magazines. Her popularity has even earned her a Super Bowl ad with Squarespace, co-starring André 3000.
Zendaya's Outfits Were the Main Attraction
Rapper André 3000 narrated the commercial (and brought back the classic "Sally sold seashells by the seashore" tongue-twister) while she played the role of none other than Sally by the seashore. Well, Sally wore a series of outfits that we can't take our eyes off of. We'd like one of each, please.
Zendaya first appears in an hooded, oversized knit that boasts the colors navy blue, lavender pink, and beige. She pairs it with shorts and crisp white sneakers, loosely pulling her hair back into a loose bun. We like to call this Zendaya's 'Cool Girl at the Beach' outfit.
At the point in the ad when Sally starts having success with her seashell business, she reappears in a gold strapless dress, adorned with seashells around the cinched waistline and a large seashell necklace.
Next up is a flirty, teal halter dress with a full skirt, paired with white pumps of course. Later she even added an adorable teal apron to her ensemble, which was obviously decorated with seashells and seahorses.
Zendaya's stylist, who was responsible for putting together the whole wardrobe, really did save the best for last. Sally concluded her seashell story by donning a collared, nautical crop top with 3/4-length sleeves and high-waisted wide-leg pants. The final touches were the same large seashell necklace from earlier, accompanied by blue high-heeled pumps.
Each and every one of Sally's outfits help her live up to her status of "seashell celebrity," as André 3000 puts it. Watch the whole ad here:
