Ella Langley made history this week when her hit single "Choosin' Texas" held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for a 15th week. Not only did she surpass both Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" (1992-93) and Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" (2005), which each led for 14 weeks, for the most weeks at No. 1 ever among non-holiday songs by women with no co-billed acts, but her track is now also tied with Harry Styles' "As It Was" as one of only eight songs in the chart's history to lead for 15 weeks or more.
