Chrissy Teigen Claims Women Go To Abortion Clinics With "So Much Hope And Excitement"

The event featured various kinds of pro-abortion activists, including clinic operators. Teigen gushed about one in particular, saying, "Hearing stories from your clinic, hearing that so many women come in there and it's not a place of sadness all the time. It's not a place where people are feeling at their darkest points or anything like the world wants you to think."

"Some people go in there with so much hope and so much excitement because they know that they have a future," she added tearfully. "Stories that you shared at your clinic of people having so much hope and positivity and a new outlook on life."

"It doesn't have to be this place of darkness, and the level of comfort I felt just being at your clinic was so incredible and so beautiful and something that I actually wished for myself."

Teigen is a passionate abortion activist and outraged many when she claimed she was suffering from a tragic miscarriage before later revealing that it was an elective abortion. In 2020, Teigen shared a series of photos of herself in the hospital, writing a long message about the "loss" she and John had just experienced. For an entire year, Teigen maintained that she miscarried and the experience was out of her control until her story changed. She's also come under scrutiny for vicious bullying and inappropriate comments about children.

"I found [the abortion clinic] to be such a beautiful place that it was just so, so special," Teigen concluded to Harris. "So sharing all these stories and humanizing this taboo subject I think is really an important thing."

Many on social media were quick to point out the gross implications of her statements.

"True empowerment comes from supportive communities, life-affirming resources, and people coming together to tell mothers they CAN DO BOTH, have their child, and have a beautiful future," wrote Students For Life.

Her statements also distort the devastating reality of coercive tactics used in many abortion clinics, as well as mounting cases of abortion regret.

"Mothers have been continually lied to by society, and people like Kamala Harris & Chrissy Teigen, hear that they shouldn’t feel sad about their abortions and that abortion is empowering, and yet, we see so many women facing immense pain and abortion regret. They feel alone and scared because the world tells them they need an abortion to have a future, but their post-abortive feelings and emotions don’t align with empowerment," Students for Life added.
