Chris Pratt Launches Production Company To “Heal Political Divide”
Movie icon, TV star, and king of our hearts, Chris Pratt announced that he’s starting a new production company in Hollywood called “Indivisible Productions”. He said it has a Pledge of Allegiance theme to help heal the political divide he sees in the country.
Pratt, who’s an outspoken Christian said, “Our mission statement is to create entertaining content, focusing on themes which will help to bridge the growing divide in our country and world. You know, make the world a better place. No biggie, you’re welcome, but it’s whatever.”
A Hollywood actor starting a production company would ordinarily emit a yawn worthy response, but this announcement resonates differently in a time when the majority of the lever-pullers in Hollywood and media lean towards one side of the political aisle.
While Pratt didn’t specify if “Indivisible Productions” would be necessarily Conservative or Liberal, the tone from the announcement seems to suggest that it would churn out content allowing American stories to be shared fairly and equally. Perhaps to nudge our hearts and dissolve a poisonous notion we’re all guilty of from time to time - that our peers who disagree with us are inherently evil and our enemies.

I think Pratt’s onto something with this idea. It’s not necessarily that we need entertaining content for one particular political audience. We need options. And we need a variety so we can choose for ourselves. I’m looking forward to seeing what the first productions are that he greenlights, and I'm hopeful that more America-loving patriots will follow his lead.
