“Let’s say if I have the coronavirus right now. How am I supposed to know I got it because sometimes I be like, ‘If y’all have a cough, you have it,'” she said. “But then I be seeing these basketball players say like, ‘Yeah, I have the coronavirus, but I don’t got no symptoms.’ So how the f*** am I supposed to know when I’m supposed to get tested for it? Y’all ni**as is playing with me. That’s my problem right there.”

Cardi B Is a 'Big Mood'

This isn’t the first time she’s had strong opinions about the virus. Just last week, in a now-viral video, Cardi complained about the quarantine, asking someone who works at the Pentagon to get a hold of her to let her know when this ends because she wants to put on her expensive outfits and go out. Many people were obviously angry about losing their jobs only to hear Cardi B complaining about not wearing her expensive clothes, while others on Twitter said she was a “big mood.”

“I don't know what this f*** this Coronavirus is about,” Cardi said in a video. “I don't know understand how this s*** was from Wuhan, China, now all of a sudden this s*** is on motherf***ing tour.” She took to Twitter to let her fans know that the coronavirus was the reason her new single’s release date had been pushed back.

If Celebrities Are Being Paid To Say They Have Coronavirus, Cardi B Wants In

Cardi stated that she was starting to think celebrities must be getting paid to say that they have the virus, especially since many have no symptoms. “I’m starting to feel like y’all ni**as is paying ni**as to say that they got it.” And if they are getting paid, she wants in. “And if y’all are paying ni**as to say that they got it, pay me too.” She said she’s “tryna get paid. A bitch tryna get lipo.”

Closing Thoughts

Luckily for Cardi, despite her single being pushed back, she’s still topping the charts. Her Instagram rant about the virus got turned into a remix that is heading for the Billboard charts and became a viral trend on the popular app TikTok. She says she’ll be donating proceeds from the sales of the remix to charity.
