Britney Spears Announces That She Had a Miscarriage
Yesterday, Britney shared a post on her Instagram announcing that she had a miscarriage. "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy," she wrote. "This is a devastating time for any parent."
Britney, 40, has two sons with her previous husband Kevin Federline, and this would have been her first baby with Sam. She continues to write that maybe they should have waited to make the announcement.
"Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along," she wrote. "However we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family."
She said she's grateful for the love and support, but they "kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment."
