Brad Pitt is making his press rounds to promote his newest film Bullet Train. At the film's premiere in Germany, he wore an ensemble that confused many: a brown linen skirt with a matching linen blazer, a rose-colored shirt, and black combat boots. The internet had many opinions about his getup, but he seemed confident about it regardless. Brad recently explained why he chose to don women's clothing on the red carpet.

Brad Pitt Says He Wore a Skirt on the Red Carpet Because "We're All Going to Die"

On Monday evening, Brad was promoting Bullet Train in LA and he was asked on the red carpet why he chose to wear a skirt in Germany. “I don’t know! We’re all going to die, so let’s mess it up,” he told Variety's Marc Malkin. He laughed it off and seemed unphased by the question.

Regardless of whether or not he was trying to make a fashion statement, the internet wasn't on board with his skirt ensemble. In fact, many people expressed how much they disliked it.

You can see Bullet Train in theaters on Friday.
