Launched in 1990, Ulta Beauty is a huge name in the makeup and skincare industry. The brand boasts nearly 670,000 followers on Twitter and recently posted a clip of an interview between two men who call themselves trans women. Dylan Mulvaney is a man who has become a TikTok star because of his "journey of girlhood". Even Lady Gaga has followed him to watch him wear makeup, put on dresses, and pretend to live the life of a woman for the world to see. Forbes has even invited him to speak at a summit and discuss how he has used social media to save up money for his future transgender surgeries. Countless Ulta followers and customers didn't appreciate the clip that the brand shared, resulting in the hashtag #BoycottUlta trending all over social media.

Ulta shared the second episode of their podcast called "The Beauty Of..." featuring Dylan and hairstylist David Lopez. This episode is named "The Beauty Of... Girlhood" and the clip that has gone viral on Twitter features Dylan talking about how his life has changed since he supposedly became a woman.

"Now I know I can find love. I know I can still be a performer," Dylan says. "I know that I can have a family. I want to be a mom one day, and I absolutely can. And that's why the narrative still has a long way to go because when I was grieving Boy Dylan I didn't know those things were even accessible to me."

David nods in agreement as Dylan explains how he "absolutely can" become a mother. By that, Dylan means he can buy a woman's eggs and rent a woman's womb to carry a baby that he is the father of.

Ulta has received thousands of angry comments and promises to never purchase from the brand again after sharing this clip. Women are furious that a man who appropriates womanhood could be featured on a podcast of such a major beauty brand (that sells products to women) and claim that he can become a mother if he so desires.

"I spend a LOT of money at ulta," one user tweeted. "Guess I'll be going back to Sephora cause as a mother and woman, I find this dude instulting. [sic]"

Many others chimed in to remind Ulta that Dylan is a grown man, not a woman, and it's entirely creepy that an adult male would be so obsessed with girlhood.

Ulta Beauty responded to many of the comments with a few automated responses such as, "At Ulta Beauty, we believe that beauty is for everyone—and we kindly request that everyone be treated with respect on our channels."

Originally, Ulta shut off the ability for people to respond to their tweets, but soon enough they opened up the lines of communication again and started responding with these manufactured phrases that were likely devised by their PR team. In the meantime, the hashtag #BoycottUlta is now trending and there are thousands of women who have vowed to never shop there again.

It's interesting that Ulta keeps demanding that the people on their page be treated with "respect" when the brand pays no respect at all to their female consumers who are deeply offended and insulted by this appropriation of womanhood and motherhood. It's safe to say the respect they demand is going in one direction and one direction only. Of course, the trans movement will continue to claim it is oppressed and discriminated against, when it's clear to see that all the major corporations in this country not only support their cause, but promote it and put it on a pedestal for everyone to see.
