Bodybuilder And Author Doug Brignole Dies Months After Getting Covid Vaccine And Claiming He Was "A Test" Of Its Safety

The Covid vaccine was one of the most divisive things to emerge in the last couple of years. Bodybuilder and fitness author Doug Brignole was highly supportive of the vaccine and announced earlier this year on social media that he would gladly serve as "a test" to determine whether the vaccine was safe and effective. A few months later, he died.

The last two years have resulted in intense division among many different demographics of people across the country. The coronavirus lockdowns and mandates starkly separated many into two camps: pro-lockdown and vaccine mandate, and anti-lockdown and vaccine mandate. Doug Brignole, veteran bodybuilder, fitness expert, and author, posted a message on his Facebook in April 2021 that showed immense confidence in the vaccine to urge people to get vaccinated. Sadly, he died on October 13, and the cause of his death has yet to be released.

The fitness world was surprised to learn that Brignole died on October 13, and the mysterious part is that the reason for his death hasn't been confirmed. He was seemingly very healthy and fit, and he took good care of himself. In the wake of his death, people are looking back at his social media posts in which he expressed great confidence in the coronavirus vaccine and said he would gladly serve as an experiment to show people how safe and effective the shot was.

"I have enough confidence in the vaccine, based on my research, to get it done," he wrote in April. "Those of you who think the vaccine kills people can use me as a test. If I die, you were right. If I don't die, and have no ill effects, you were wrong, and should admit it (at least to yourselves). Better yet, you should admit that you were misled, and tell the world who misled you, so other people can benefit by avoiding those fear mongers."

Brignole's Facebook page is full of bodybuilding competition photos of himself, and he also shares the link to his blog on Ironman Magazine. His bio says he has been competing in bodybuilding for more than 43 years. He has written books such as Million Dollar Muscle: A Historical and Sociological Perspective of the Fitness Industry.

But his mysterious death has been raising many questions and garnering attention. It's unfortunate that he passed away so suddenly, and many people can't help but point to the connection to the vaccine he received only months earlier. Some influencers are sharing the story on social media and offering condolences for his untimely death.

The mainstream media is, of course, silent on this story, as they tend to be with every other story of injury or death that is related to the vaccine. Brignole's death may not be directly connected to the Covid vaccine, but if he died from natural causes or an accident, surely that would have been revealed by now.
