An Australian bishop was brutally stabbed multiple times by a 15-year-old boy during his sermon at Wakeley's Christ The Good Shepherd Church, an Assyrian Orthodox Church, on Monday night, April 15, 2024. This shocking announcement comes following a stabbing rampage at Sydney mall that left at least six people dead and injuring more than a dozen people. The attacker was said to be targeting women and avoiding men. The bishop was rushed to the local hospital, and the attacker was apprehended by parishioners and brought to an "undisclosed location," according to Acting Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland . The Daily Mail slanders Bishop Mar Mari as a 'known anti-vaxxer' while he’s still in hospital recovering from the attack. The Bishop saved countless lives with his messages, unlike the media with their 'safe and effective' death line." Others are attacking him for showing compassion for all, including the children in Gaza.
