Baby No. 4 Is On The Way For Nara Smith—And She Didn’t See It Coming
Nara Smith is expecting baby number four – less than a year after saying she was “absolutely done” having kids.
Well, the influencer did say she was “absolutely done” – but life had other plans.
Nara Smith, the internet’s favorite from-scratch cooking queen, just announced she’s expecting her fourth baby with husband and model Lucky Blue Smith. The two shared the news on Instagram on June 8 with a video that showed Nara’s growing bump and the caption, “Our little surprise🥹🤍.” In case there was any doubt, the on-screen text added, “Baby 4 Loading ...” with a soft, cinematic soundtrack playing underneath.
This will be Nara’s fourth child with Lucky, following daughters Rumble Honey and Whimsy Lou, and son Slim Easy. It also comes less than a year after she looked GQ in the eye and said, “After Whimsy, we are absolutely done now.” To be fair, she had her reasons. “Having toddlers is the best sort of birth control, because they're wild.”
Lucky had backed her up in that same interview, “We feel like we couldn't be as good of parents if we added in any more.” It was an honest sentiment, and one that probably felt very true in the thick of toddler chaos. But clearly, things change. Especially when the original goal, according to GQ, was six kids anyway.
Nara, 23, rose to viral fame for her calming, homemaker-core cooking videos, where she effortlessly makes things like cereals, Cheez-Its, Pop-Tarts, and even Chick-fil-A-style sandwiches from scratch, sometimes with a sleeping baby strapped to her chest. She’s been married to Lucky, 27, since February 2020. And yes, if you’re doing the math, their oldest, Rumble, arrived seven months later. Fast forward a few years and their family is one of the most photogenic on the internet (like, unfairly so).
As for what’s next, Nara didn’t give any more details. We don't have a due date or gender reveal at this moment, but based on the legacy of Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, and Whimsy Lou, there’s no doubt Baby No. 4 is going to be walking into the world with a name cooler than all of us.
