I have a folder on my phone. It's just screenshots, mostly. A pair of earrings I saw on Instagram in January. A cute bag I added to my cart and then deleted because the kids needed new sneakers. A jacket I've been staring at since last fall. Every mom I know has a version of this folder. It's full of things we love but won't buy for ourselves, because we know that money is going somewhere else: groceries, family outings, another round of shoes they'll outgrow in three months.

And every Mother's Day, instead of anything from that folder, we get flowers that die in four days, a spa gift card that requires coordinating childcare, and a facial where I spend the entire time with one eye on my phone in case someone calls with an emergency. Those things are lovely, I mean that, but they don't chip away at the wishlist I've been building for the last twelve months.

So this year, I'm cutting out the guesswork for everyone and telling you exactly what moms actually want. Not what the internet thinks we want. Not what your dad picked up at the airport. What we want. Sixty-five gifts, all vetted by me, all things I'd be thrilled to unwrap. Consider this your cheat sheet.
