Not only have they been deemed "cheesy" and outdated in 2025, they can often be extremely unflattering and aging. While I'm all for dressing appropriately at the pool, especially with kids myself now, twinning with the grandma doing laps during "adult swim" isn't exactly my goal. Look, I'm all in for grandma hobbies and home decor reminiscent of an old folks home (kidding, kind of), but I'm certainly not ready to start dressing several decades older than I am.
