Cassandra Day is a freelance journalist with a passion for politics, culture, travel, and all their intersections. She grew up on a cattle ranch in Northern California before attending school at University of California, Santa Barbara. Now, she is on a mission to travel while writing as much as she can along the way. However, Cassandra will always remain a dedicated plant mom and her most important job will be that of a self-proclaimed hamburger connoisseur.
