The Naked Brothers Band's Allie DiMeco Says She Had To Kiss A 30-Year-Old Man At Age 14

What is wrong with Nickelodeon? Why did they want a 14-year-old girl to kiss a grown man?

According to The Naked Brothers Band actress Allie DiMeco, who played Rosalina on the show, Nickelodeon made her feel like her job was "at risk" when she did not want to lock lips with a 30-year-old man for a scene.

Rosalina had to kiss a French guy in one episode of The Naked Brothers Band. "I'm sorry to this man, but I did not want to kiss him," DiMeco says in a video on TikTok.

"Also, guys, I'm 4'11, he's a 30-year-old man."

The former child star says she has trouble watching the scene and that it gives her PTSD, adding that she's coming forward following the Quiet on Set documentary. She notes how important it is to create a safe environment for children.

"It's also more important to create an environment that listens to the kids and actually does not make them do things when they don't want to do that, because they made me kiss this 30-plus-year-old man when I was like, what, 14, 15?" she says. "I told them many times I didn't want to do it, my mom was very against it, and they just pretty much made me feel like I was going to lose my job, and be fired if I didn't do it." It's a shame that the adults on set did nothing to stop this.

Unfortunately for DiMeco, the people on set made her kiss the grown man multiple times. "They made me kiss this guy multiple times, and then I always got hate for it, and it was like PTSD and trauma," she recalls. "That's my Quiet on Set story, apart from [them] taking my first kiss away from me."

I suspect that we'll continue to hear more stories from former child stars as the dark side of kids' television comes to light.
