The Haunted Hathaways star Amber Frank, formerly known professionally as Amber Montana, says the computers at Nickelodeon contained child sexual abuse images on them. Unfortunately, no one is surprised by this claim – especially when the disgraced studio has been found to harbor pedophiles like Jason Handy and Brian Peck, Drake Bell's abuser.

We also learned from Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV that Dan Schneider mistreated the writers on set and seemingly sexualized the minors in his shows. Additionally, Schneider's behavior behind the scenes has been described as "creepy" by audience members.

Frank took to Instagram Stories to open up about her harrowing experience on set at Nickelodeon. According to Frank, the studio sent computers containing disturbing material to the production team. "I would like to add that one of the horrifying things that happened in my experience with Nickelodeon was when Nickelodeon sent computers over to production when we [started] filming the show, and when they were turned on, there was child porn on them, and nobody was held accountable," the actress says.

Unsurprisingly, Frank adds that nothing was done about the child sexual abuse material at Nickelodeon. She continues, "There was no investigation, never even found out where it came from or who was responsible for it. It's beyond heartbreaking to know that a company that was employing children failed miserably at protecting them."

"So I am sending a lot of love to all of the victims involved, and I hope that we can create a very different environment moving forward for child actors," Frank adds.

In a statement to Variety, Nickelodeon said the following after the release of Quiet on Set: “Now that Drake Bell has disclosed his identity as the plaintiff in the 2004 case, we are dismayed and saddened to learn of the trauma he has endured, and we commend and support the strength required to come forward.”

The spokesperson claimed that they investigate all formal complaints. To this day, it sounds like the studio does not want to take accountability for failing to protect the kids on set. “Though we cannot corroborate or negate allegations of behaviors from productions decades ago, Nickelodeon, as a matter of policy, investigates all formal complaints as part of our commitment to fostering a safe and professional workplace environment free of harassment or other kinds of inappropriate conduct," they explained. "Our highest priorities are the well-being and best interests not just of our employees, casts and crew, but of all children, and we have adopted numerous safeguards over the years to help ensure we are living up to our own high standards and the expectations of our audience.”
