Rihanna And Kris Jenner Make Forbes’s 100 Richest Self-Made Women List

Forbes recently released their list of the 100 richest self-made American women.

These 100 hard-working women are executives, singers, actresses, athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and more. Altogether, they’re worth a collective $90 billion. While they live all over America, 45 of them in California alone.

Familiar Faces New to the List

This year Rihanna and Kris Jenner join the elite list.

Rihanna is listed at number 33 and worth $600 million. Not only is she the richest female musician, but she also owns the Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and the Savage x Fenty lingerie line (Fenty is Rihanna’s last name). Not bad for being only 32-years-old!

Kris Jenner just made the list, coming in at number 92, with her net worth of $190 million. The “momager” takes 10% of what the Kardashian-Jenner family earns, including from her daughters’ deals with cosmetic company Coty. Jenner also makes her own income by producing and participating in KUWTK.

The Queen of the List

The wealthiest, self-made woman in America — for three years running — is Diane Hendricks. Now her job isn’t glamorous — Hendricks and her husband founded ABC Supply, one of the largest U.S. wholesale distributors of roofing, siding, and windows. But hey, she can enjoy her wealth without being bothered by paparazzi and tabloids!

Other Famous Women on the List

You can check out the whole list here, but here are some names you probably recognize:

  • #9. Oprah Winfrey, with $2.6 billion

  • #29. Kylie Jenner, with $700 million (She’s the youngest person on list at 23.)

  • #55. Beyonce, with $420 million

  • #62. Taylor Swift, with $365 million

  • #83. Serena Williams, with $225 million

  • #97. Lady Gaga, with $150 million

Closing Thoughts

Don’t listen to those who say women can’t have massive success. If you put in the hard work, play to your strengths, and stick it out, success will come.
