If you're a fan of Halloween then you've probably spent your fair share in the Spirit Halloween stores, a retail chain that carries just about any Halloween costumes and accessories you could possibly want.
Spirit Halloween was founded in 1983 in New Jersey, and it has become the one-stop shop for all things Halloween. For people who love the spooky holiday, this is the store to visit when you're preparing your annual costume. It turns out this popular retail chain will now be transformed into a feature film starring some familiar faces.
Rachael Leigh Cook and Christopher Lloyd Are Starring in a Spirit Halloween Movie
If you're looking for a spooky film that's appropriate for the family and kids, Spirit Halloween is for you. The movie is set to film Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Rachael Leigh Cook (She's All That), Marla Gibbs (El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie), and more. This will be David Poag's directorial feature debut, and the script is written by Billie Bates.
The story focuses on three young friends who feel like they're too old for the typical Halloween trick-or-treating, so they decide to take things to the next level and spend the night inside a Spirit Halloween store in a deserted strip mall. Naturally, the store is haunted by an evil spirit and the middle-schoolers spend the whole night trying to survive and avoid becoming possessed by it.
That's all we know so far, but filming has now wrapped and the film is set for an October 2022 release.
