Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dies At 87
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died at age 87.
Justice Ginsburg’s death was announced by the Supreme Court this evening: "Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died this evening surrounded by her family at her home in Washington, D.C., due to complications of metastatic pancreas cancer.”
Ginsburg was the longest-serving woman on the U.S. Supreme Court and a strong liberal voice. Her death opens a pivotal seat on the court less than 50 days before the election, an open seat that is likely to become a critical piece of the presidential campaigns.
