Lisa Marie Presley, the 54-year-old daughter of Elvis and Priscilla, has passed away.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us," Priscilla said in a statement to PEOPLE on Thursday evening. "She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time, there will be no further comment."

Lisa Marie went into "full arrest" on Thursday morning, as reported by TMZ. A source claimed that she was administered epinephrine at the scene to help her regain a pulse. According to the news site, the paramedics performed CPR on Lisa Marie in her Calabasas home, and she was transported to the hospital shortly after. Priscilla was spotted arriving at the hospital to remain at her daughter's side.

Lisa Marie had just attended the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday night with her mother, and watched Austin Butler receive an award for his Elvis Presley portrayal in the film Elvis.

Lisa Marie is a mother to four children named Riley, Benjamin, Harper, and Finley. "I am very protective," she said about her kids. "I just smother them in love, and I am also ferociously protective. They are my priority. That’s what I do. That’s what I care most about. I keep them close to me and make sure they are happy and healthy."

In 2020, her son Benjamin committed suicide at the age of 27. In 2022, Lisa Marie posted a tribute to show her and her son's matching tattoos on their feet. "Several years ago, on Mother's Day, my son and I got these matching tattoos on our feet," she wrote on Instagram. "It’s a Celtic eternity knot. Symbolizing that we will be connected eternally. We carefully picked it to represent our eternal love and our eternal bond."

Lisa Marie is survived by her beautiful daughters, Riley, Harper, and Finley.
