On the set of her new Netflix Christmas movie, "Christmas on the Square," Dolly Parton saved 9-year-old dancer, Talia Hill, from an oncoming vehicle.
Hill described the incident in an interview with Inside Edition. Hill said, “We were on set, and I was at the hot chocolate station, and they said 'Go back to your beginning positions.’ So, there is a vehicle moving, and I was walking, and then somebody grabbed me and pulled me back and I looked up and it was Dolly Parton."
Hill said that she was so surprised by what had just happened, and Parton told her, "Well, I am an angel, you know." (Parton plays an angel in the movie.)
"I was in shock, she hugged me and shook me and said, 'I saved your life!'" Hill said. "And my mom's crying like, 'Yes, you did, Dolly Parton. Yes, you did!'"
Talia Hill dances in the film alongside her older brothers Tristan and Tyson. You can see the Hill siblings and Dolly Parton now on Netflix in the musical “Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square," which follows a modern day Scrooge, Regina (Christine Baranski), who wants to evict her whole town on Christmas Eve.
