Best known for: wineries and open views

Move over Napa Valley, there’s a new bad boy in town. Just a short drive from the Golden Gate Bridge you and the girls will have a blast drinking wine and chatting it up! With over 425 wineries to choose from, you can’t go wrong. The best part is many wineries offer free wine tastings or will waive the tasting fee with the purchase of a wine bottle.

Some wineries are even in actual castles! Just imagine, sipping a refreshing glass of white wine, laughing with your friends, and feeling that warm sunshine on your skin while you watch the sun set behind the green trees. So go ahead, book this trip, lift that wine glass up, and toast to friendship.

Ibiza

Best known for: music festivals and dancing the night away

If Spain is on your bucket list and you are looking to get a little fun with the girls, then it is a MUST. Ibiza is one of the world’s most popular and known adult playgrounds and is an island located off the coast of Spain. If you are looking to dance the night (and the day) away, this is your dream girl’s trip. With celebrity DJ’s playing the best music every single night at places like Pacha, you will make some of the best memories.

If you are looking to dance the night (and the day) away, this is your dream girl’s trip.

Ibiza, also known as the “party island,” has a ‘care-free’ vibe to it. You can find daytime spots to start the party early at beach clubs like Bora Bora. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere am I right?! Head on over to Es Vedra; a mythical landmark with a strong magnetic field claimed to be the home of sea nymphs and goddesses. Ibiza makes for the perfect dance party theme for any girls trip!

Las Vegas

Best known for: gambling and nightlife

If you haven’t taken the classic Las Vegas Girls Trip yet, this needs to be next on your bucket list. Las Vegas has everything you could possibly imagine. From fine dining at places like Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant “Hells Kitchen,” to something more casual like those tiny, mouth-watering White Castle burgers, this city is known for its food.

You can walk on the strip during the day and night and check out the different themed hotels. You can also lose your money and make it back in the casinos and party it up in the hottest nightclubs. There is something for everyone. Once you are done with gambling, drinks, and the nightlife, make sure you go check out the Grand Canyon. The options are endless…just make sure one of your girlfriends doesn’t come back home a ring on her finger or an unexplainable tattoo. Yikes!

Bali, Indonesia

Best known for: getting out of the ordinary world and relaxation

Bali is a place many women I know and myself hold dear to their heart. With the everyday hustle and bustle, if you and your girlfriends are looking for a place to truly unwind, relax and disconnect from the world, then this is the trip for you. It is one of those places with magic in the air. No words can truly describe the life-changing moments you will have until you experience it for yourself. The temples here are beautiful beyond belief; two of my personal favorites are the Uluwatu Temple and Tanah Lot Temple.

If you and your girlfriends are looking for a place to truly unwind, relax and disconnect from the world, then this is the trip for you.

The food here is like no other, using very healthy ingredients for an amazing taste. The Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud is a must. Be warned, even though the monkeys are adorable; hold your belongings close because they will try to steal it! While in Ubud, you can’t go wrong with taking a day for yourself and head to Yoga Barn where you will learn to take it one day at a time, moment for moment. Head on down to Potato Head to lounge by the pool or go to Dreamland beach. If you girls are up for a real adventure, then hiking Mt. Batur is for you. You’ll get picked up in the wee hours of the morning for the longest and hardest trek of your life on this active volcano but the views when you reach the top and see that sunset…#worthit.

New York City, New York

Best known for: Broadway and fashion

We have all dreamed of the big apple growing up. Whether it was to move to the big city or end up on Broadway, New York is a place of dreams. NYC has so much to offer that it is impossible to do everything in one trip. You will have to come back, at least 10 times after falling in love with this big city.

An obvious must do is to have a classic slice of New York Pizza and take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Head to the top of the Empire State Building to get the best view of the city. You can go shopping in Manhattan, drink coffee in hipster Brooklyn, watch a Yankees game in the Bronx, see some art museums in Queens, and of course see a Broadway show in Times Square. So grab the Blair to your Serena and start planning this well-deserved trip! xoxo

Sydney, Australia

Best known for: oceans, kangaroos, and surfing

This is hands down one of the best girls trips you could possibly plan. Make sure you save up for it because this one will cost a pretty penny, but the memories you will make, and the people you will meet are worth it and will last forever. People from literally all over the world head to this amazing place. It took me literally 5 days before I met an actual Australian because I met people from everywhere else first!! Bondi Beach is the most popular beach. Because of that, it does get overcrowded, so I suggest going to Coogee Beach. It is more relaxed with the bluest of waters.

While out there, make sure to stop to eat at the Coogee Pavilion. With over hundreds of beaches to choose from, you really can’t go wrong. A tour to the Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Park is a great memory. You can hike the mountains and touch and take pictures with kangaroos, quokkas, and koalas oh my!! Grab lunch anywhere in Circular Quay, and you’ll get the view of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Bridge in the background. Plan your night by going to Darling Harbour for dinner by the docks, then head into the city where you can bar hop in the middle of downtown all night long. You might as well take up some surfing lessons while you are there because let’s be honest…this is the best place to do so.

Nashville, Tennessee

Best known for: country music and BBQ

Don’t forget to pack your cowboy boots for this trip; you’ll need 'em! Nashville is the home of country music and the perfect spot for a fun trip with you and your friends. It is one of those cities filled with history, culture, and will make you feel like you have just stepped back in time.

Nashville is the home of country music and the perfect spot for a fun trip with you and your friends.

For the history buffs of the group, the options are endless for you; one place that is highly recommended is the Belmont Mansion. Dating back to the late 1850s, the Belmont Mansion is considered one of the most beautiful mansions in all of America because of the preservation of the original décor. And for you music lovers, head on down to the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Make sure you don’t leave without getting some authentic BBQ that will leave you wanting more.

Santorini, Greece

Best known for: white sand beaches and architecture

Mama Mia, now this is high on the bucket list for many women. A place we’ve dreamed of and a place we long to be in. A dream come true, and real-life movie, where anything can happen and all things are possible. The real beauty of Santorini (and any part of Greece) is the culture and its people. Welcoming you with open arms, you will feel right at home. The breathtaking views, the white sand, and turquoise oceans, the warm breeze brushing up against your faces as you sip that refreshing glass of Greek white wine are moments we live for.

The real beauty of Santorini (and any part of Greece) is the culture and its people.

This city and country has everything to offer you. With its rich culture, you can learn first hand all about Greek mythology and not in a passed down history book in a boring classroom. Your taste buds will be thanking you with all of the rich and flavorful food you will indulge in. It is said to be one of the cities of love, so be careful, you may go with your girlfriends, but come back with a new boo. Go see if true love awaits you. Oh, and don’t forget to take me with you!

New Orleans, Louisiana

Best known for: cuisine, history, ghosts, and partying

Now this is a place I hold dear to my heart and could 100% go back each year and never get bored. This city, in my opinion, is one of the best cities in all of America. It is rich in culture and history, and so many different types of tours you can take with the girls. One of my personal favorites are the ghost tours. You get to learn what went on years ago that have made this city so haunted and spooky. Everywhere you turn, you will hear live music in the streets. A lot of the restaurants even offer live music and nights, and you can listen to some good ole jazz at night.

Everywhere you turn, you will hear live music in the streets.

You can’t go to New Orleans and not go to Café Du Monde to try the delicious and famous beignets. Hint: you will most likely see a long line, but the local tip is that when you see a table, you just go in and sit down. There is only a line because travelers do not know this helpful tip. So don’t feel bad, it’s what the locals do. If you are looking for a town with amazing drink prices and the best food you will ever eat, this one is for you.

Hot Springs, Arkansas

Best known for: hot springs and bathhouses

This is a place that is overlooked and needs more praise. When one of my closest friends said she wanted to spend the weekend here for her bachelorette, I honestly did not know what to expect, I mean, what is there to do in Arkansas? It turned out to be one of the most memorable weekends with the girls! We rented an Airbnb on the lake in the middle of a forest. When we first arrived, we, of course, decorated the house with all the fun bridal things you could possibly decorate. Then it was time to hit the town.

The “town” by the way, is one street in this little city. But what an amazing street it was. We went out to lunch at The Superior Bathhouse Brewery. Fun fact, this brewery is the first brewery in a U.S. National Park and the world’s first to use the thermal spring water as their main ingredient. Even their root beer has thermal spring water in it. After a light lunch there, you can walk down the street and see all of the little shops they have, and there are also some great photo ops. Make sure to stop by Fat Bottomed Girl’s Cupcake Shoppe on the same street as well! What caught my eye was “Lemon Lavender” as a cupcake flavor so I had to go in and check it out. To my surprise, they have been featured on the Food Network and Cupcake Wars.

If you're going to the Hot Springs, you have to rent a boat and drive out to Lake Ouachita which is one of the National Park Lakes. Surrounded by green trees and mountains, it is so peaceful. Not to mention, the water feels amazing and refreshing; you will want to jump right in! If you want to find some nightlife in this little town, head down to the Ohio Club. What is amazing about this club is that it was built in 1905 and they have not changed the inside whatsoever, so it holds a lot of history. Even mobsters AL Capone and Luciano would hang out at this same bar years ago. So if you were looking for a more chilled out, calm, and outdoors type of girls trip, this would be a great choice.
