With more than 341 million followers on Instagram, Selena Gomez is one of the most recognizable faces on the planet. She has taken a step back from the limelight recently, though, and chosen to stay off social media. She sat down with Raquelle Stevens on TaTaTu to talk about her future plans, which involve as little fame as possible.

Selena shared that she doesn't even post her own content on social media. Her assistant is the only person who uses her social media profiles and Selena just sends her what she wants to post—she doesn't even know her own password. Selena doesn't want to be the center of attention forever. In fact, she wants to settle down and start a family.

“I hope to be married and to be a mom,” she said. “Eventually, I’m going to be tired of all of this, so I’m probably just going to devote most of my life to philanthropy before I peace out.”

“If anybody knows me, I’m an extremist. So it’s either one way or the other way,” she continued.

She's rumored to be dating producer Andrea Lervolino but it hasn't been confirmed yet. Selena has remained fiercely private about her personal life lately so her fans have no idea if this relationship is a serious one that will likely end in marriage. In the meantime, she's been using her platform to raise awareness about mental health, encouraging people to take a break from social media in order to keep a sound mind and clear head.

“Maybe take the weekend off, or start with a day where you just don’t pay attention to it and really be present for what’s around you,” she said. “I think that’s so crucial and a part of our mental health.”
